So Much Sweetness – See’s Candies Fundraiser

On October 24th, the See’s Candies™ Fundraiser began!  Teachers gave out packets with envelopes attached last Monday for collecting donations or payments.

Red Ribbon Week is coming October 24 through 28, so get ready for your red bracelets! By wearing these bracelets, you pledge to stay drug-free. With drug use up, it is increasingly important to be informed and to say, “No.”

New nationally projectable survey results released Oct 13, 2016, by the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids and Metlife Foundation confirmed that one in four teens has misused or abused a prescription drug at least one in their lifetime – a 33 percent increase over the past five years. Many people find music a passion where they can escape from studies, sit down, relax and play. Music can even be a lifesaver for some, and distract them from their trebles (pun extremely intended).

It can provide listeners with a powerful feeling, sometimes creating tears or frustration over the relatability of the lyrics. Boo! Hello, Stacey students. We will be having a double lunch on October 31 to celebrate Halloween.

Our leadership students will host a costume contest open to all students. They will also have games and activities prepared.

There will be no Dark Fest this year, but there will be Fall Fest November 9 with a movie on the field, games, and also food.
