Together, We’ll Go Far

I’m sure you’ve all heard the phrase, “Together, we’ll go far,” during Wells Fargo’s television commercial or on the radio. However, who would guess just how far they would go? Fabricated emails, counterfeit PIN numbers, bogus bank accounts. Crimes have been committed on numerous levels, causing them to fire 5,300 employees, who’ve been accused of these transgressions.

Of course, these are not the only workers who’ve lost their jobs to these ethical violations. Several employees attempted to report these encroachments, but they were fired shortly after that. The reason listed was often found to be “tardiness,” after the employees showed up less than five minutes late for work.

The investigation into these practices is ongoing, and there are sure to be more discoveries in the months to come.

Winning Powerball Tickets Sold

Three winning tickets were sold Wednesday night in Chino Hills, California, Florida, and Tennessee. The winning numbers were 08, 27, 34, 04, and 19, and the Powerball was 10.

The odds of winning the $1.6 billion jackpot were one in 292 million. Each of the winning tickets carries winnings of about $528.8 million.
